    Device Maintenance IMPORTANT

Device maintenance is extremely important for Kodi. Whether on phone, android box, PC or whatever you choose to use Kodi on. I highly recommend Wookie Clearer. This addon stays hidden, and clears cache, purges packages, and deletes thumbnails on every Kodi startup. This will keep streaming smooth and help with crashes and buffering. The repo: File Manager Add Source Tyoe exactly, all lowercase edit source name "Wookie" System Addons install from zip "Wookie" There is 2 files in there (at this time) Wookie Flix and the Auto Clearer. Install Auto Clearer. The addon is instantly enabled and nothing else is required of you. It will automatically do the maintenance function is was intended to do instantly and on every Kodi start up from here on out, unless the addon is down. Keep this in mind when you begin having trouble. Restart device and this should fix the issues, unless the problem is generated elsewhere. Thanks, for reading and I hope this helps you in the future. ubuntu - jan23rd beast install

I'm aware that this is not an ubuntu forum but there isn't one available so I decided to go with Mac. I've just installed the Jan 23rd version of the beast on a clean install of Kodi on my ubuntu desktop and it allows me to open Kodi, the beast loads but as soon as I press a button Kodi crashes instantly. Running system monitor at the same time I can't see any obvious resource reason why it might crash, there is plenty of memory and CPU for it. this is still happening after uninstalling and reinstalling Kodi. i'm instaling the build from the wizard after downloading and extracting it from the secondary server. Does anyone know why this might be? Thanks for any help in advance and sorry for posting in the apple section, but I had no choice. It would be a great idea if you guys created a Linux help forum as there are many people installing Kodi on Linux.
